Knospe

Knospe

Within a space of approximately 23m2 and a budget of 10000 euro, we designed what the owner really desired, making what we could make by ourselves together with the owner.
In Japan, working with such a tight budget limits options for materials, construction, and finishing DIY projects.
It was important to get practical and see what we had to find a balance between an aesthetic look that truly accents the beauty of the flowers and designing a functional shop layout.
“Knospe” is German for “sprout”. We hope this “perfectly conceived imperfect store design” can “sprout” inspirations in designers, clients and users.
